Privacy Notice
GovBot Mitigation Plans (https://plans-api.govbot.ai). Effective date: 2026-10-19.
This notice applies to the GovBot Mitigation Plans service at plans-api.govbot.ai. The service is operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.
Data categories
- Tool arguments sent by the assistant: place names, Census GEOIDs, state abbreviations, plan identifiers, element names, hazard and activity filters, search words and paging values.
- Standard request log fields: time, request path, response status, user agent and network address of the calling system.
- The service has no accounts and no sign-in, sets no cookies and does not receive conversation content, names, email addresses or other account information.
Purposes
- Tool arguments are used only to answer the request in which they are sent. They are not written to logs or stored.
- Request logs are used to operate the service, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
- Per-network request counters are used for rate limiting and expire within one hour.
Recipients
- No data is sold, shared for advertising or used to train models.
- The service answers from its own database of plan documents and public registry data. It does not forward tool arguments to any other service.
- Google Cloud (United States) hosts the service and processes request logs on behalf of Ideation Lab, Corp. as its infrastructure provider.
- Data may be disclosed where required by law.
Retention
Request logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Rate-limiting counters expire within one hour.
Your choices
- No account or stored profile exists. Stop using the service at any time by disconnecting it in the assistant.
- Requests to delete log entries within the 30-day retention period, or questions about this notice, may be sent to hello@govbot.ai.
Content of responses
Responses describe plans prepared by public jurisdictions. Contact details, street addresses, coordinates and personal names are removed from plan text before it is stored by the service.
